Our Story
Our journey began with two friends, Armando and Guillermo (“Don Memo”), who bonded over their love of Mexican music. What started as a passion project soon grew into something bigger. Ronald joined us early on and has been part of our sound for many years. Carina later added depth with her bass playing, giving us a richer foundation. Most recently, Sebastián joined with percussion, adding fresh rhythm and energy. Together, we perform boleros from Mexico’s Golden Era, sharing cultural authenticity and heartfelt emotion at weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, quinceañeras, and community events.

We started out playing at small gatherings, and today we’re honored to be one of Northern Virginia’s most sought‑after bolero groups. From intimate ceremonies to lively receptions and festivals, our music sets the mood and guides the flow of every event with elegance and warmth.

Armando
As one of our founders, Armando guides our musical direction and shapes arrangements that stay true to tradition. His vocals carry warmth and emotion, and his leadership ensures every performance feels polished and heartfelt.
Don Memo (Guillermo)
Guillermo, also known as Don Memo, co founded the group with Armando. He is our steady anchor, bringing rhythm and stability to every performance. His decades of experience keep our music flowing with elegance, and his bond with Armando reflects a friendship built on shared passion.
Ronald
Ronald has been with us for many years, and his guitar is central to our sound. His harmonies, intricate patterns, and steady strumming create the romantic atmosphere that defines bolero. Ronald’s artistry and consistency make him a cornerstone of our ensemble.
Carina
Carina adds depth with her bass playing, laying down a strong foundation that lets our melodies shine. Her sensitivity to harmony and pacing ensures the music enhances the atmosphere without ever overwhelming it, bringing balance and richness to our performances.
Sebastián
Sebastián is the newest member of our group, adding fresh energy through percussion. His bongos and shakers give each song a gentle pulse that makes the music feel alive and inviting. His rhythms round out our sound, complementing the long standing members while adding vibrancy.
